Wayne -

(...It just seems to go beyond the tolerable levels of nonsense that are part of life...)

What you need is good dose of cliches. Like - It's always quietest before the dawn. Or - It's always darkest before midnight, unless there's a moon out or a bunch of no-deposit/no-return Iridium assets in liquidation. -g-

Regards, Don

Wayne, You would be surprised at how many people I've met in the business who are flat out dumb. And many are bright on an IQ basis, but don't have business sense. And, these are usually the ones who end up being tech analysts or sector fund managers.

I agree about the co. touts. There was a time when the co. would give both sides of the story, even if they did lean toward the pollyanna. Now, they won't even mention the risks except in SEC required documents.

I like Behrens. VG is a great horse, but I think Behrens has more consistency. Did you see Yagazi (sp) at the UN Turf yesterday? He looked good, though I prefer 1-5 horses to win by much more than he won by. <g>
