Now this isn't rocket science or anything, but it is man hours and you have to ask yourself, what do I want more, added functionality or customizable formatting. Just trying to offer a pov here. Points of view are good, and I'm glad to hear all of them. I can disagree though, right? While you're right that to graft options for numerous variable settings onto a finished product that never was envisioned to have them is not going to be easy, If the code is decently written it shouldn't be too bad. And If they're going to make more revisions down the line, which they acknowledge they plan on, they are probably writing in a style amenable to such change. In any event, I'm being selfish here and caring about what benefits me and other SI users, not what's hard for the programmers. And I want my cake and want to eat it too. Why can't we have both increased functionality and customizable formatting?
