"The same thing is happening to the take over of the health care industry and what is being negotiated behind the scenes to make a governmental data base of all of your health care records and back room deals being made to the highest bidders should be frightening to anyone who doesn't want their private lives available to the thugs who have suspended the constitution and have taken over the government."

that is probably true.

Not probably, it is true, I'm in the industry and see it happening. As we speak the government is requesting total copies of people's health records for their "longitudinal databases" (which, of course they will only use for the best interest of the country).

Oh, I'm sorry, you have the wrong genes to get our health insurance.

So how would you feel if you got the opposite letter...

Gee, we're sorry, you have great genes and we would only have to charge you $x for insurance but because we can't take that into consideration we have to charge you 3 x $x to make up for people who we KNOW are far more risky, tough luck.

Of course since you now know that you might just opt out and make the insurance pool even that much worse for those poor risks that stay.

People are not created equal. Not everyone gets to get an A or B in school, not everyone gets to be the top scorer on the team, and not everyone get to pay the same for insurance.
