What, you live near a nudist colony? Actually, you don't want to know what heat indexes can really get up to. In Greece around this time of year the actual temperature can hit well over 130 degrees. They don't even talk about "heat indexes". I guess Americans really are getting soft. 100 years ago people were wearing 5 times as much clothing and living, working, sleeping in heat like this and not an air-conditioner in sight.
