Jan Crawley on the Amazon thread does a great deal of box trading, shes really good at it too. A few people over there (Amazon) lost a bunch shorting initially and they worked their way back into the black in the stock with a box position. (Not Jan, I don't think she ever lost much but some other people). I would say it appeals more to the TA types though because you really need keen awareness of resistance and support (which is not always obvious)... good luck to you
