I did so. .... ¡Feliz cumpleaños Neenny!

Couple of weeks ago we planted a Dublin Bay and a [i think] Lancaster - both quite deep red roses - like wine, i prefer red but will take any colour of port in a storm ... the Dublin Bay is a climber, i used to have one on the other side of the world once ... the Lancaster, if that's what it is, is an old rose, a heritage variety ... not sure though, there was no tag ... they were going to be thrown out of the shop.

[edit] - uh oh, squid attack ... do squid eat roses? I know aphids do.
