CNBC suffers from the same sensationalizing yellow journalism as the other network news centers because.......sensationalism SELLS! Time and time again we have seen them do this. They of course will defend themselves by saying that they only report things that they hear, but all who watch them know they are in the business to get VIEWERS and therefore advertisers. Maybe some letters from SI people to their sponsors, letting them know that they will curtail their viewing of CNBC in the future will evoke and apology and some responsibility to their reporting. I really don't trust them and doubt the financial community really uses their journalistic attempts.

what a joke!!!

i have never witnessed so many cry babies whining over a stupid rumor about the "ever so coveted" AOL. Give it a rest already, and contribute something worthwhile to the thread.
