<< I hope he can modify it. >>

Craig has said he probably could .. and may .. but he also said back a few weeks ago he would wait till the Beta settles down. That was savy since the noble but flawed effort has been changing just about real time.

BrowseMaster: << I hope he can modify it >>

Craig Richards just posted this on the BrowseMaster thread:

127.0.0.1:3456/SI/download.pl?URL=reply-10765486

"I have decided to discontinue BrowseMaster for a variety of reasons. Essentially I've decided that the time I've put into BrowseMaster is worth more than the return from it. And I've given up hopes of making lots of money from BrowseMaster. GNET has not caused me any legal problems, although I have to admit that I'm disappointed that they did not take a more co-operative attitude towards BrowseMaster. Since I think that SI benefits from BrowseMaster, IMO SI management has demonstrated a lack of vision in this area."

I can understand why he is tossing in the towel.

I would encourage anyone that has either not signed the petition (only if they like the old SI better than new) to do so and also cast a vote in the poll.

In addition they may want to voice their sentiment to SI/go2met management.

This is my sentiment. I like the old SI with BrowseMaster better than the old. I can live with the new but it will be difficult without BrowseMaster or at least the incorporation of some of its features.

Of all the posts on the "Beta Thread" this one by Joan is my favorite. It expresses my feelings about the new and old sites better than I am able too:

Bill, a great earnings season, and red all over the G&K Index... it must be August. Seasonality is easily predicted, but always comes as a shock.

Prediction: Cisco will run up towards earnings, post great revenues, beat earnings by .01, and sell off the next day. Maybe we should find a way to make a few bucks off this scenario.
