Head&Shoulders, nonsense if you refer to QCOM recent price chart as exhibiting a H&S pattern, you are way way out there.. no clear head at all, still tracking daily moving averages.. no clear neckline at all.. if so, what level? .. uptrend channel is still evident dont confuse slowing declining volume of vacation season with a very unreliable H&S pattern.. I have seen about 30 H&S patterns show themselves, and maybe 2-3 happen.. the most unreliable TA pattern in captivity the only ominous pattern presenting itself for QCOM is the broken uptrend.. often (extremely reliable) we see a double impulse correction.. first was day after the S&Pfund conjob deception robyourpicnicbasket.. had pathetic little reflex rally up to 160-.. now might see a slowmotion slide into 140's where ample support lies in wait if a SHS pattern (I call it H&S), then identify the neckline please.. if you claim tilted, then you are stretching into lalaland.. check chart on weekly basis and you see nothing but uptrend.. reversals display clear flattening in the daily chart before prices reverse, true.. but they also flatten prior to resting periods, like now when big players head to vacation both S&P and DJIA show retreat to former resistance levels.. old ceiling is new floor where is the beach? over there, where all the big boy stock traders are building sandcastles with their kids / Jim Willie, card carring TA sharecropper
