The law in Maryland also says you can only be prosecuted if you knew it
was illegal when you did the taping.

Well, if this is true she may have no problem avoiding punishment, huh. If true, this is the only case I know of where ignorance of the law IS a valid excuse. We'll see,

She was granted immunity by the Federal Government.

Again, if a federal prosecutor can grant immunity from prosecution by non-federal law enforcement entities (which I kind of doubt), she should have no real problem. We'll see.

Are you asking about Clinton lying to Congress on national TV for 3
hours?

No. But since you bring it up, there are procedures to handle this. Those procedures haven't produced the results that a lot of people would have liked to see. But that's life.

If party A or B (Clinton or Gingrich, for example) successfully slithers out of a legal trap, that is no reason that party C (say, Tripp) should expect to be justified in slithering out a different legal trap they've ensnared themselves in.

how hard can it be to read news from a non-fundie source? widely
reported that she testified to taping even after a lawyer told
her it was illegal. details of how her immunity from the Feds
can be irrelevant also posted.. jeez, we are not talking
fluid dynamics or astrophysics here (we will leave that for
the chinese immigrants to do it for us). simple reading of news...
for all the foaming and frothing from the extreme right, it
is amazing how little facts are actually in your possession.
