So, can we agree to disagree on this matter? Some think the purchase of a negligible number of shares relative to an individual's net worth is insignificant at best. Who knows, perhaps Mr. Cook has adopted a dollar cost averaging approach to increasing his holdings, and we'll see another small purchase this week. Personally, I agree with Tom and J.Y. that it's a red flag, but a real teeny, tiny red flag.
