I liked your comparison of medicine over the ages but, very few sciences are exact and irrefutable. The main problem I have had with doctors in my life time,which has been for quite some time, is that far too many of them have a God complex and talk down to patients as if they were the lowest form of life on earth. For some time now, I have let them know just how I feel about their attitude of superiority. After all, we are making the payments on the Mercedes.

I still don't know whether or not you believe mental illness is real or not. Some of the things in one of your links explicitly indicated that mental illness is a myth. Yet you speak of mania and bipolar disorder. Do YOU think mania or bipolar disorder exist and are mental illnesses or not? That seems to be a simple question. I'm only asking for your opinion - yes, no, or I don't know.
