Very well put! The Lord's Prayer is the most beautiful thing in the world, IMHO.

Jesus also said it is not what goes into a person that makes them unclean, making it ok to eat pork. This type of higher reasoning is integral to any study of philosophy.

To any liberals who wish to bash us who reference the bible, take a gander at the gangster shrew's latest interview at nypostonline.com found courtesy of Drudge, with an excerpt here.

In an interview threaded with biblical references, the first lady says Clinton had no way of sparing her the pain of the affair being revealed other than saying it never happened.

"He couldn't protect me, so he lied," she says. "You know in Christian theology there are sins of weakness and sins of malice, and this was a sin of weakness."

No mention of forgiveness, though.

A very nice post and greatly appreciated by me. I agree with almost all of it, in total, but have a slightly different feeling about one point. Yes, we can forgive sins in the name of Jesus but, I believe the sins we can forgive are those perpetrated against ourselves. I don't see how we take it upon ourselves to forgive any sin that the sinner has done to someone we don't even know. This is where I differ with many denominations on this particular point. TD
