What happened to common sense?

I see a quadrupling of product as we migrate to .17 in a PC market that is increasing at a 12% rate, 24% if you double the memory capacity. We need new applications/markets...don't see any though.

The price bubble will fade and we will continue on a downward price curve. The timing is the tricky part.

PS...don't believe marketing types...they were wrong last Dec. when they were preaching "allocation" by mid '99 and they are wrong again.

PSS...all the Taiwanese track Micron's price, not the other way around. Micron has the pricing hammer and sets the trends. If you want to know why prices increased...ask Micron.

tom, they tell the psychopaths (helmut schmidt) what they want to hear so there is no reason to examine anything. check your hat for the crayons and buy, buy, buy.

btw, the folks purchasing the s&p index are buying a 3% yield growing at 10% per year. they can get a tbill for 6.1%. that is stoopit.
