I'd say the main reason Bear Stearns sucks on this IPO is that there analyst (Michelle Wolfe) and her assistant (John Sharko) both quit a couple of months ago. Believe it or not. N one is covering IDTC or NTOP at their firm right now. However, the same situation also existed at CIBC until recently. Robert Pomeroy had left to go to Goldman and coverage was not re instituted until Friday by Jon Carr with a strong buy on IDTC. You can expect the same I'm sure from Bear shortly.
