Craig,

Your efforts have saved me countless hours viewing the messages I have read on SI. The little bit of money I spent to use your program has been returned many times over.

As you probably know, I suggested several times to SI management that they simply hire you to incorporate Browsemaster into SI.

The day we lose Classic SI/Browsemaster will be a sad day indeed.

Thanks for your effort.

Have fun, if you can, I will try,
Phil

Craig,

FWIW, BrowseMaster had made things so much faster and easier.
I think without it, SI would receive much less attention from me.
I can not understand why everyone isn't knocking down your door to get it.
If you ever change you mind re: RB and Yahoo, put my name on your order list.
Thanks for a great tool.

Fred

Craig,

As you know, I am very thankful for your program and assistance. Many here on SI have needed and benefitted from your hand holding on some occasions. Please consider increasing the price of BM rather than discontinuing. I would be willing to pay much more for continued use of BM.

Best,

LIG

Craig, BrowseMaster is a great program and I've been extremely happy with it. It is even great when I'm on the road and using it from a hotel room in Japan and get about 200 Bytes per second from my laptop modem through the hotel switchboard. SI Beta doesn't come close.

If BrowseMaster becomes unavailable I'll probably stop using SI.

Please dont discontinue, Browsemaster, I cannot live without it, Name your price and I will pay. I save so many hours and find so many good tips on SI buy the speed of Browsemaster, That it is worth whatever you feel is a price that will make it worth your while. Please reconsider.

Craig-- Raise your price! Don't discontinue. I think many who currently use BM would be glad to pay more. I know I would.

Regards,

RB

As others have posted, I would also like you to reconsider supporting BM, and reviving the Yahoo version as well. I'd pay $50 or more to have BM continue working on Yahoo and SI. Don't you think you can find 2000 people on those boards who would pay? That's 100 grand!

Work out the price/volume point yourself. Test market it at different prices to see which price is most acceptable. Or start high, and lower the price if necessary (refunding the difference to recent purchasers).

Scott

Craig, one thing to ponder is that the major R&D has already been done. Not much in the way of functionality need to be added. So at this point it is mainly in maintenance mode and not the time sump it has been the last year.

With the continuance of the talk.techstocks.com version of SI, BrowseMaster is still a very worthwhile product. Maybe you won't make your first million with it but it should help pay the rent at least.

I don't think raising the price would be wise but making it so that evaluation users can't keep reinstalling after the fair 30 day period would be a good thing (I did that for several months out of laziness before buying it.)

Best,
Jimmy Liberato

Craig,

<< I have decided to discontinue BrowseMaster for a variety of reasons. Essentially I've decided that the time I've put into BrowseMaster is worth more than the return from it. And I've given up hopes of making lots of money from BrowseMaster. >>

Comment: I think you pulled the plug a tad early.

Suggestion: Repost BrowseMaster free trial for 30 more days - same terms - limited time frame and unsuppoted (or supported choice is yours).

Reason: Beta (which is improving daily) is generating a lot of publicity but people that don't have it, can't get it, and really don't know how Great it is.

Limited Downside - SI steals your concepts. They will do that anyway.

Upside - There is room for an add on like Woody does for Word. Commercial success takes effort, luck, and pluck.

This board will support you.

FWIW. LOL.
