RR, I'm not sure where you are hearing these rumours from.

A joint press release by all the JV partners on May 31st, 1999 said that the sidetrack would take approximately 75 days to drill to TD.

biz.yahoo.com

Drilling of the sidetrack commenced on Tuesday June 8th, which puts us at 54 days today (Aug 01). I'd say they are right on schedule, which in this business and at this depth is a remarkable accomplishment! Way to go Neil Darling and the guys on the rig.

As for your confusion about KOB's working interest, Okey and Grayhairs have explained it quite clearly. This is a dynamic play, with small percentages being bought, sold, swapped, and yielded by the JVs all the time. KOB reports it's working interests at the time each report is written.
Whether or not the figures are BPO or APO, they are all "working interest" figures.

I agree that O&G commodity prices are looking great for our NAV figures.

Here's to the "monster".
