blankmind: I disagree with you here. I am much more impressed with MSN's content and service than AOL's I guess if you are catering to the cartoon crowd some of what you say might have merit but MSFT is doing a great job of improving MSN whereas AOL is standing still. Indeed AOL has 17mill subscribers but in time everyone on AOL will discover that AOL is a bottleneck and not the info highway. AOL has got to find a new direction b4 their customers find out about the net. If I were AOL I would have (past tense) tried to have purchased a phone company with AOL stock and then another and another. Maybe they can make a deal with QWST before they get locked out of the loop. In the long run there are 2 elements to all this signal carrier and content. AOL has to get better control of one of those facets or both pretty soon.JFD
