Sorry, I have enjoyed this threads recent Flame-war. Interesting to see both sides of the fence. H6O, If I'm not mistaken, there are a few folks on the Yahoo Message board that are a little miffed at you. Can you explain why that is? I currently hold no position in either IDTC or NTOP, however I daytraded NTOP for two days last week for quite a bit of profit.

It looks to me like the upgrade on IDTC has the IDTC shorts running for cover and NTOP is an easy victim. I think that NTOP does have some legitimate value. The whole argument about dumping shares into the market is absurd. The lock-up is 180 days, even at that, IDTC would not dilute the market and relenquish control of NTOP. At least not until NTOP's future value is determined by demand for internet telephony services.

I would expect both sides to be right for the short term. NTOP should endure every internet IPO's recent trends and that includes a possible pullback. However, Unlike most internet content providers and retailers which end up continueing downward, NTOP should move upwards as we get closer to the end of the quiet period. A better shorting opportunity presents itself there. No one can predict what will happen after that.

Most importantly, If you are looking for direction on how to handle your current position in IDTC or NTOP, please do not rely on the rantings of one or two individuals whose current positions are obvious. Seems like most of the last 100 posts here belong on Yahoo's board and not here. Wish you guys could post your opinions once and move on.

Good Luck, Long or Short...

M
