LOL

The short interest increased to an all time high of 977,393 shares in July. Given that the stock is only about $1 below it's recent high at 13 5/8, I would think that many new shorts are in at a loss or have very small gains. The discomfort level must be going up, especially since the stock didn't crack during last week's market rout. I would think that there are stop orders above 13 3/4, and if triggered, the buying could easily push the stock to 15. A market order in GUMM is suicide, whether it's entered willingly or as a result of a triggered stop.
