More MSFT failures!!!!

They tried to dominate the official language of the web and they failed against Suns' JAVA. They tried to dominate the personal financial software market and failed against INTU's Quicken. With NT they tried to dominate the mainframes and failed, initially they hyped NT but time was their greatest enemy and the ITs realized that NT was inferior to UNIX. Their next flop will be their failure against COMS' PalmOS, wait and see.

Now I have manifested how MSFT has failed in more than one instance.

COMS' has a lot of excellent engineers that are well aware of the Netscape debacle, and how they lost the Browser war. They are also aware of the Betamax vs. VHS battle and how the better technology Betamax lost. They are also aware of how MSFT defeated Apple for monopoly of the PC OS. This was not genius on the part of Gates or his employees, it was part luck and part change in the world economic order caused by the ending of the cold war. Gates and his clique were at the right place at the right time.

COMS is aggressively marketing its OS so that it does not make the same mistake as the aforementioned companies. With the right moves PalmOS will dominate. Can you name a company that made the right moves and still failed, especially when it had the superior technology.
