Yes, Haggerty and Cooper are the best material on the site for stock traders. I take Cooper's daily fax's which provide plenty of fodder, and I know Haggerty's pre-market calls are pretty good... I just rarely seem to find time to make it to that site... -Steve

Is anyone else annoyed with the expression I often see in the popular media: "daytrading, a bull market phenomenon...."?

Daytrading (and scalping) is made possible by several things: powerful personal computers and software applications; cheap, efficient, and reliable communication (internet); and dirt-cheap commission rates. It's mainly a technological phenomenon, and will happily persist through many bull and bear market cycles to come.
