So you imply that T invested in TCI and MediaOne too early? Not the right time?

Not really. My point was that even though the rollout of HFC as it is architected may seem lacking in its future capacity it may well be the most profitable tack to take. It might be too soon to build for massive bandwidth demand.

Aside from regular advertising and rolling out, they must adjust the price to force the mass to see value in @Home as compared to other dialup ISPs

There is a far better way. That is to make broadband more valuable than it is today. Broadband applications are the key, not lowering the price. Make broadband an essential part of everyday life and people wont blink for an instant at paying $40 a month.
