Red,
OFF TOPIC
To be fair, lets let everyone know that the well that blew out finally watered out....lots of ifs here....is the formation damaged? gas could be in "pockets" that are structurally segregated by faults(production would crap out quickly)?....it will take lots of drilling and deep wells are expensive...there are only 4 or 5 other holes in that basin as deep as this one....anyone who thinks they know how extensive that reservoir MIGHT be without a number of PRODUCTIVE WELLS DRILLED, is dreaming in technicolor....and, no one knows what a reservoir will do until it has stabilized after 3-6 months production, and especially at those depths.....if you think expectations were high on Winspear, they are on the planet Pluto with the ELH play....by the way, if you check insider reports, the Hilltop people would probably be eligable for a prize, if there was one offered, for the most insider selling ever done on a VSE listed stock and I haven't checked the other ELH stocks yet:-))....IMO, the smart thing to do is to dump the juniors with small interests in ELH at market before they go no bid(thats all they have) on the inevitable market disapointment and buy WSP:-)))the ones that have gone through broad retail distribution could probably be safely shorted too....larger participants like Berkley, who will continue to grow whether ELH makes it or not are a safer way to play....
regards and good luck,
teevee

I do plan to look into it when there's time, and have grayhairs peoplemarked - #reply-10768058 ... he knows a thing or two. But it's another exploration play, and like teevee says, we won't know what's there till it's drilled off and tested ... and with gas, you don't really know till you've piped it all off and sold it. Continental natural gas will be a strong commodity over the next few months, though. Alberta/BC/NWT gas even better with all the pipeline shuffling.

Hilton is a VSE oil and gas junior, and you know what Kerm Yerman thinks of those -g-

I dunno, i like DiamondWorks. Got interested a month or so ago there when the trading was looking odd, started looking into it [again, have on and off in the past] and everything that shows up looks good, considering that the stock is so beaten down. They should have their second quarter financials out very soon, and i think they'll show that the scarey time for dmw has passed ... something the market hasn't recognised yet. I think dmw is approaching positive cash flow, if they haven't already achieved it, and production should continue to improve. Plans were to run Yetwene 24/7 by this time, i hear, so they're likely cranking out the $200+US carats as we speak. There's a double or better in it in the near term, i think ... and i don't often say that.

And Jordex - look at their kitty, at the history of management, at their business plan, and then at the share price ... and tell me how many baggers by Christmas. Barring major market meltdown, which could happen, of course. But that would only delay them, not stop them.

This one right here, though - good old Spear ... I sure won't be selling any at this level. You know it's a winner in the end. It would be nice to see it going through a bit of a sell-off just as a person was taking profits in some other speckie, eh -g-
