<< I had plenty of run-ins with the user community and could never say much... this reminds me of that except now I can say whatever I want!! >>

Right! Now you are a user and an experienced and informed one (a FU). Sit back and think about how you could apply your previous experience by rotating your hat 180 degrees. Team up with Joan and CheekyKid and a few others ... solicit feedback from other informed users and coordinate it. Help out the user base while helping SI/go2net satisfy their users and build a successful enterprise.

Michelle,

I'm not complaining about loss of functionality.

My complaint is with beta's layout and navigation.

There have been a number of excellent ideas bantered about on this thread such as the multiple subjectmarks (too bad this didn't come up in the beta timeframe) but those are new features and don't constitute reasons for why old SI is better.

It did come up early in the beta. How about post 4 on this thread by Andreas Helke:

beta.siliconinvestor.com

There have been many great ideas on this thread in addition to the thousand posts on colors and boxes. SI has been fairly quick to react to the simple stuff but hasn't made substantive change based on any of the suggestions which describe new functionality. This is really a shame because many on this thread, and I presume in the beta program outside this thread, are sharing ideas which get to the heart of SI, i.e., improving the use of the message base.

Kinda breaks your heart.
