What the Hades are you talking about? What do you MEAN he didn't say there isn't a relationship? No one has to get him to say anything more...his response was clear and unequivocal. He stated he is NOT related AND that he wasn't aware of the Firms position. Either you are failing to comprehend the written English he offered, or you are purposely seeking to confuse. You are MOST unclear in the post I'm responding to- do you seek to confuse? You seem to contradict yourself. Aside from nixing sibling relationship notions, the man TOLD us he'd met the other Gilder- and he says the last contact with him was years ago. So that's not enough of a denial for you? LOL...whatever. To those in the know, the doubt here is the minutest possible if it exists at all. I pushed, you pushed, but if you are waiting for more clarification from Gilder...good god don't hold your breath. The man couldn't have been more clear in his thorough denial. Nuff said I'd say. If you are waiting for someone else to dig up something that would prove Gilder has lied about this you are wasting your time I'm confident(and for good reason). If you think he was unclear, left doubt, or left himself an out, you simply need some study in reading comprehension, IMHO.

This gets funnier all the time.

NEON®'s current backlog amounts to $71.4 million with dark fiber contracts representing about 71%, lit services
23% and collocation contracts equating to 6%.

ynot, that's per the company press release. Sounds impressive at first glance, but one needs to look a little deeper. You see, the fiber contracts backlog will be recognized over (are you ready for this) not 2 quarters, not 3, not even 10, but will be spread out over seventeen years. That's right, it's not a typo, 17 years.

In the meantime, NOPT owes more than $20 million in interest per year.
Regards,

Tom
