JohnG, seriously.. any move under 140 would most likely to an intraday move much like under 90 last June.. it will spring back quickly and mark the beginning of the next march on 200.. my gut tells me that low 140's is about the best August white sale you will be handed on a silver platter

if we get a considerable runup in stocks following LaborDay, then I would assess the stock market risk as growing larger.. the new threat I am watching is "wrinkle in the yellow sheets"

DEVALUATION OF THE CHINESE YUAN

I dont pay much attention to the China/Taiwan sabre rattling, but devaluation actually makes sense to me if done in moderation.. all China's neighbors have devaluated, and now China is at a disadvantage
