Hi truedog, maybe you didn't notice that one: go2net.com I really like you took up communication again and I am sorry I alienated you once by my comments (and questions) upon German army combat behaviour. I welcome our conversation about how the possible weaknesses of our respective armies are not taken into account by relentlessly irresponsible politicians. I think actually they (including Germans) have performed better now than could have been expected in the beginning, or before the action had started. Partly my fears had been relieved already on the 14th of June, when it became clear that the spearhead of the German troops moving in had been taken not from the Oldenburg tank and support division (Oldenburg is a most peaceful place, you know) but that during the first days the Schneeberg Alpine troops, that already have Somalia and, more important, Bosnia experience, were the ones. The Oldenburgers have taken over by now, the Schneebergers are home in Saxonia and got some special holidays. Still I think it is a most dangerous situation to have Germans there and still I am not convinced that this isn't posing an additional threat to the rest of KFOR. It is only a few years ago that a tank was stolen from barracks near Oldenburg and used to crush a jail wall more than 100 miles away to free a bunch of dangerous criminals. They were then fleeing using that very vehicle. I am sure KLA can do this as well, and direct the panzers at American KFOR or Russians. Not as a provocation, but for your amusement I add a few words from todays www.telegraph.co.uk on British army:Sex-change soldiers can stay in Army SOLDIERS who have sex-change operations will be allowed to stay in the Army under confidential new guidelines by the Defence Ministry. Best regards MNI.
