Some other advantages COMS has with regard to the Palm over Windows CE. First, the OS for Palm costs nothing, the best that MSFT can do is to give it away free. Second, you need two megabytes of memory, and that costs money, just to run CE, hence making a CE run PDA more expensive to build. Palm only needs two megabytes to perform all its functions. So you can see it cost much less to build a superior product.
