Any valuations for Rambus two years out are going to be wildly speculative. But what do we know?

1. 70 million in cash on hand

2. Design wins coming on line regularly.

3. Manageable operating expenses, as explained by everyone on the thread tonight.

4. Some share of the PC main memory market, some share of the logic market, some share of any market involving "image manipulation" (I love that phrase).

5. So, even if Rambus only fulfills one-half of its promise in the next eighteen months, the point to remember is that until some other technology removes the possibility of it achieving the other half, it will continue to draw interest and debate. Just like now.

Dave,

Correct you are, just like many other posters EPS and fair value estimates have many variables. So Gary has made assumptions just like others have made assumptions! Yes, no? All of our predictions are suspect due to the many variables that exist.

Change any of these factors a little either way by even a small amount and you can make RMBS look wildly under or over valued currently.

That is PRECISELY my point! RMBS was suppose to earn $1.10 next year, then it was $0.90, now it is $0.77. Until the earnings stream ramps up in full and regular force, RMBS will continue to be a temptress!
