Scott: If your investment is in market leaders/quality stocks (like Dell etc), turbulent days like the past 2 1/2 weeks should not cause any concern. My general observation from what is happening around us signals to people concentrating in inuts and on margin. Margin calls are being placed everywhere as I write this post, and generally people sell the good quality stocks and hope that the marginal stocks which take the heaviest beating will bounce back. The cylcle starts all over again: keep the losers and sell the winners. Multiply that for the entire horizon, you have the effect of feeding itself to the down drafts. Good Luck to every one.
