Yeah, GSM will be around for a long time, but, anything new will be Q, I believe. You can put in a cheap, small user system in rural areas with the others, but no high use system will use anything else, IMO.

I really don't see a breakthrough coming that will wipe out Q. It would probably take a major breakthrough in Physics, and they are not even close to integrating the field theory, IMO. They haven't got a clue as to the nature of gravity. Hawkins idea of "gravitons" is a joke, IMO.
