Try the following for starters - its from TA from A to Z on the equis site. equis.com Or get George Lane's work on Stochastics, as he developed the idea. Check back copies of TA for Stocks and Commodities mag ( I don't recall the issues, way back).

Most half decent books on TA will include a discussion of the stoch oscillator, how its constructed, and suggested settings. From there you need to do some tweaking to find what suits you. Eye of the beholder and all that. If you read the early posts on this thread, especially by Wayne, you'll find some good discussion as well.
