Karen, thanks for the link on McAfee's Y2K software. As everyone knows, there are serious deficiencies in Norton's Y2K product, so now that these 2 giants are battling it out, perhaps we will see some increased reliability in Y2K problem-detection software. Personally, I haven't gone the utility route, preferring to deal one-on-one with the vendors, but I think after a month or two of letting the bugs settle out, these utility programs may be a good additional backup check....
