hey pw,

sorry if i mislead you. the files are not lost. i find them easily with file manager. but, to repeat, "the files i'm looking for aren't there in the memory tab box after clicking the details button (i don't think!)."

am i just not looking hard enough?

btw, running win95 here.

btw2, i know what you mean about deleting them and usually not having a prob. i've just decided to try doing things the "correct" way.
