Wally,

What can I say? Unfortunately for me, I did not have my 'A' game with me on Sunday and Bob Sr., being the competitive golfer he is, made me pay dearly. Things were looking good for the first nine holes but as we both put our approach shots on the 9th green I was about 10 feet out and Bob Sr. was about 15-20 feet away. He sunk his long putt for birdie and I two putted for par. At that point, I quickly realized I was in trouble. I could go on and on about reasons why I was defeated but the bottom line is I shot a 99 on Sunday and deserved to get beat. In the past, I have been able to squeak by on an off day but it appears those days are over. He is simply too good to let me win on an off day.

Fortunately for me, Saturday went my way...but it was very close as it came down to our final chips/putts on the 18th green. Lucky for me, I pulled it out and ended up with a split for the weekend.
