There would probably be more profit in buying an "at the money" put the day before earnings, and they selling it as the stock sells off. But since I'm a csco holder, the best play may be writing august covered calls the day before earnings, and then watching them expire worthless on 8/21.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Any suggestions from the options crowd will be welcomed.

You guys should have bailed out of Q when I sold INTC and bought more Q! <g> Q is in neutral and INTC is at a new high. Good thing I am a long term investor!
