Your genius Gates, a lucky fellow, now thinks he can buy into everything he can't win. He will lose the PDA OS market for this reason. 1. Inferior OS 2. Cost more money to build CE based systems 3. COMS already has dominance 4. COMS knowing it has to compete with MSFT has made alliances with IBM, SUNW, Seimans, ORCL and NTT DeCoMo. 5. OS for Palm costs nothing 6. COMS is aggressively marketing its OS Money alone won't help Gates, and let me tell you he knows, that is why he is taking the advise of Buffet, and he is buy minority shares into many companies. I wouldn't be surprise if he doesn't try buying COMS.
