That's what I thought too, until I read this one, that quotes an anonymous "industry source" that says the average daytrader makes more than 300 trades per hour.
I can't even imagine how much caffeine I would have to pump into my nervous system to comply with that average. That's 2 and a half roundtrips a minute, nonstop, from market open past market close. The writer is a walking poster boy for innumeracy: wsws.org

I will give him credit for his last paragraph, as his is one of the few articles to give even a sidelong nod to Barton's statement "I have come to hate...this system of things..."
