ed, I am adding you to my BrowseMaster list. Don't take it personally, you are in good company. I should have done it months ago when you stated that people over 50 shouldn't invest in this market cause they can't adjust to the new rules.

Good investing to you.

Ed,

This is my promised post when MSFT reaches below 85 in the
short term. I think for the long term the fundamentals are
strong. But

Near term (next 60 days), I don't feel that we have hit bottom.
* 10 day chart shows straight line decline
* Heavy institutional ownership of August 80 puts.
* Dow is down 5% and MSFT is down 15% from peaks. Dow and NASDAQ
could go another 10 - 15% lower. I see 8000 to 8500 as bottom
for the DOW this year. We are still 20% away from that. MSFT
will be dragged down with it.
* Broke on down side 50 day and 100day moving average with ease and
heading down with ease.
* I don't the short term effect of a breakup on options and stocks
on msft.

I am yet to buy back with the $$$ from liquidation at 93.5
