1. Gates has never stated how much he will leave for his kids. Only that he will give much of his wealth away. The 10M figure is a big part of what sensationalized this article. I have read much about Gates and I would bet anyone that he will leave his children many hundreds of millions. This part is NOT true.

2. Gates' wealth has proven to be a somewhat dynamic figure. How can a responsible reporter extrapolate today's wealth as the amount that he will eventually give away during his lifetime.

In the world of journalism this is not splitting hairs. It is at minimum irresponsible and bordering on unethical.
