Sting. . . on IDTC/NTOP. . .I think you are asking about way off in the future. . . . because near term, of course, that isn't the way it works.

To all:

On ANY IPO spin-off, the scenario is nearly always like this. . . .the original company is bid up and up and up in anticipation of the IPO. . . then the day after the spin-off [or even same day] . . .the IPO gets the dough and is bid up. . . while the original company is sold-off and shorted back. . .and after the IPO tops out, it too gets shorted back via offshore accounts. . .this process typically continues for quite some time until these long-term shorts are satisfied and decide to move on to another issue.

So NTOP topped out at 32 and is down a predictable 8 percent today at 25 and change.

And IDTC topped out at 35 and is likewise down 4 percent to about 19. Shorts were smacking their lips to get hold of IDTC.

Whether or not IDTC's future is bright. . . .their stock is falling on the near-term and there is no end in sight. . . I guess if I had the chance to buy at 11 again. . . I probably would.

Remember all. . . it is not about which stock is BEST. . . if it were, we would just trade on PE and/or sales ratios. . . . but there are numerous factors that figure into each and every stock. . .that help explain why it is moving in one direction or another.

The better you get at reading those, the easier it is to predict direction.
