Neidiger, Tucker, Bruner, Inc. Reiterates Strong Speculative Buy Rating on ACTV, Inc.
Notes Convergence Activity Heating Up
DENVER, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is being issued by Neidiger, Tucker, Bruner, a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers, CRD Number 7425:

ACTV, Inc. (Nasdaq: IATV - news) was mentioned by TV Guide, Inc. during their second quarter conference call as the developer of interactive software to be included in an interactive upgrade which will be downlinked to some 2 million digital cable subscribers by October 15th of this year. This follows the announcement by Viacom's The Box Music Channel, that they will offer synchronized Web content utilizing ACTV's HyperTV beginning this fall.

Additionally, the company has recently booked $3 million in orders for eSchool Online, an internet utilization tool which uses HyperTV technology, to several new school authorities including the State Departments of Education for California and Texas.

NTB's Michael Shonstrom notes that an increasing number of networks and individual program producers wish to create converged programming with ACTV to differentiate programming while adding incremental e-commerce and advertising revenues. Unlike competitive offerings, which are so far restricted to small test markets, ACTV will have its first highly robust POP at Exodus Communications' New York City Data Center up and running by the end of this quarter cable of delivering.

Shonstrom expects the company to experience significant commercial revenues in 2000 which will justify his 12 month price target of $25 per share.

Bill Samuels, President and CEO will be addressing a group of analysts and money managers at a luncheon at the New York Society of Security Analysts offices at One World Trade Center on Wednesday August 4th to elaborate on recent developments.

For more information contact Michael E. Shonstrom at 303-825-1825 or Shonstro@rmi.net.
