They were, they are & they is.....You have a confirmation slip and maybe yet a monthly statement showing the transaction the credit of the purchase and the debit of the funds to pay for them out of your account. Doesn't get more legit than that and that is what the SEC and NASD will wonder just why o why you haven't received your certs and why there are a few posters on internet investor boards that just might be mixed up in all this..lol!!!! and I have a front row seat...ROFLMAO!!!!
