thanks for reminding me of the most basic of all facts. yes, it is their property and they can do as they wish. i should say, though, that i have not suggested a 'horse by committee' site. the petition is to simply retain an existing entity. nobody said anything about taking over the daily operation or making all future decisions. so it isn't 'horse by committee' that you have to imagine. all it requires is that you imagine things the way they are now. and i don't get your "no good deed" response. :) mark
