Too bad. I planned to buy back at Friday's prices after considering it carefully over the weekend, and just did not feel good enough about the general market to chase it. In fact the general market action today was quite poor.

I did listen to the call and have a few comments:
-They would have really missed the last quarter if they had not had a
non-recurring 3/4% of sales break on material costs, worth 4 cents per share. Gross margins for ACT alone should drop some from 9.9% going forward.
-The second half should be $.05 less on a combined basis than the $.55
for ACT alone.
-The sales opportunities for the combined companies appear to be excellent. He estimated combined revenue of 160-165 for Q3 and
170-175 for Q4.

I don't think $.50 for the next half is enough to go wild over, but I think it is a solid situation around $15.

New coverage! People are starting to pay attention now:

ACT Mfg (b) coverage initiated by Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown with "Buy"

biz.yahoo.com

That for sure is one benefit of "size"...
