First oppurtunity appears to be when the short squeeze develops.

And this would be the now-mythical short squeeze that's been in the works for the past 2 years and some 90M issued shares?

Hmmmm...it really is too bad the certs are appearing. Every MGold share that shows up is 10 shares of MMining that disappear *poof!* from the make-believe "massive short position."

Oh well.

Mike,
Remember this quote from the E*TRADE response to me dated 7/21/99, "Unfortunately, it will be four to six weeks before that Certificate will be issued to you due to the fact that this is a spin-off security and we have not received the shares from the transfer company. We are, however, taking care of this." Doesn't seem like they are making much progress. It makes me wonder out loud why E*TRADE can't demonstrate that they had clients who owned Medinah Energy shares before the ex-div date. I know of several of us who had transferred actual MDIN certificates in our names into our E*TRADE accounts. I can't believe that E*TRADE would have "lost" those pieces of paper to the point that now they can't prove to the TA that I really was a shareholder!
