If these were shares coming out of restriction, you should be able to track it down through SEC/FreeEdgar as they'd have to be registered for sale. If held by insiders (who else would hold restricted stock? <except Gator, as I recall>), they'd have to file the appropriate SEC forms so you'd have a paper trail.

My personal opinion is that it's the dump side of last week's pump-and-dump. A very few people stuck with big purchases have thrown in the towel and taken their losses to complete the P/D cycle. They are the 'victims' (and the 'suckers') in this deal.

But now it's done, so we can continue to boringly languish in the 15-20 cent territory for the near-future.
