New low-cost Sanyo Camera can Use IBM's Microdrive!

Sanyo switches from SmartMedia to CompactFlash

1999-07-29  With the new Sanyo VPC-SX500EX, Sanyo has introduced its first digital camera with CompactFlash slot (Type II). A second newcomer is the Sanyo DMA-100, which is a combination of CD burner and TV set-top box and features both CompactFlash (similarly up to Type II) and SmartMedia slots. The device enables you to view your digital photos on a television and store them permanently on cheap CD blanks without the use of a computer.

Since Sanyo's devices use the CF type II interface, they can use IBM's new tiny 340MB Microdrive. Sanyo has seen the future...and it does NOT include Iomega and their 40MB Bomb! drive.

Everyone says they don't read Rocky's posts, and the forum is filled with messages to and about him. A previous forum dedicated to posts "without Rocky" was a total failure as well. If all you guys would REALLY ignore him, say for the month of August, he might feel some frustration instead of all of us.
However, the only one showing any determination and constancy on this board seems to be Rocky.
How about it? Could everyone ostracize him for just a month? If you can, just do it, and don't bother agreeing with this post or referring to him otherwise.
