Mark, we are having a semantics problem here. Having money is not the sin. It is the love of money above all other loves that is the problem. This generally is expanded upon to be the worship of mammon, which is the worship of another god. Some of the pro athletes really give back to their communities but, many others use foundations as a tax dodge. You are quite right about one thing. Pro athletes could very well be in for a shock. I don't know how they conceal, invest, or use the extravagant salaries they get but, many athletes in the past have lost their edge and their prime and have ended up as paupers, drunks, dope addicts, and even thieves. Too much too fast can cause one to over rate themselves. Not a wise thing to do, regardless of other possible penalties. TD
